Adrian Pearsall sofas were usually the focal point for his living room ensembles which included chairs, coffee tables and even end tables to match. When considering buying a sofa here, I will indicate in the pieces's specifications whether or not matching chairs for the sofa are available.

Pearsall sofas and daybeds are usually distinguishable by the way they're constructed. Sofas, which have permanent backs, were probably conceived for more formal settings. Pearsall's daybeds with their iron backs and removable back cushions, have a more informal feel.  Sectional sofas, which are made up of two or more pieces, are particularly well suited for a large, formal living room space.
