Pearsall's earliest coffee tables were made with travertine marble tops.  They are quite rare indeed.  His best known coffee tables are the ones with walnut bases and glass tops.  They are mid century masterpieces in their simplicity of design and clean, organic forms.  Later on, solid walnut tables were created but lasted only briefly because of their expense to produce.  All these coffee tables look especially beautiful as ensembles with their counterpart end tables and sofas.
